I managed to chat briefly with Cliff this morning during the Last-Minute Frantic Packing Phase, and there was some concern that Linda's flight from Manchester had been re-routed to Boston due to inclement weather. ("Weather?" I said cluelessly, looking out at a beautiful California day and bringing up Yahoo! Weather.) There was some concern that Linda might not make it to Newark in time.
But never fear! A message on my machine around noon from Cliff (drat the luck) said that all three were on the plane, in their seats, and ready for the 15-hour ordeal.
Tonight at dinner, Dad related that Cliff had called him this morning at 11:30am from the security line. Dad was somewhat concerned that they were cutting things close, but by the time the call ended Cliff said they were close to getting checked.
So, everyone put positive travel karma out there. Ohm...
